this is Bongo. that's what its previous owner dubbed it. we might change that name. the brown spots are not rust, but rust-combatting paint that the first owner put on tiny little scrapes in the paint...he was "thinking forward". so now we have a leopard van. cool. notice the roo-bar. in case we hit the roos...also, there is a cool sun-visor. fun.

i can understand your fear, dear gebus, and i know that for someone who is so used to new Audis...it must be hard to comprehend wanting to travel in such a "taco" as one might say...heheheh.
just the fact that this is my car, well half of it anyway, makes it all that much more enjoyable.
now all it needs is a goddamn functional radio !!!!!
oh yeah, and gab, anytime you wanna join in on the fun, i just want you to know that i wouldn't mind squeezing you in on the single bed mattress sam and i will be sharing in the back. or you could always rig one up on the roof...under the stars...
I think Bongo has a lot of personality, I especially like its visor and roo bar in the front.
I hope your first night in it was fun. It looks like it will be a good partner for your travelling.ENJOY! I read Gabriel would have loved to do that type of experience as well.
well, let's just say we froze our tits off last night...but it was fun anyway. we were comfortable and snug...just needed thicker blankets !
