a funny thing happened here. we got out of the car to take some pics of the glorious vastness of Queensland's landscapes and of all the places i decided to stand to capture this moment, it had to be on the one anthill on this rest area...they call them fire ants. let's just say that the expression "ants in your pants" has, since then, taken on a whole new and real meaning. sam, sadly, got bitten. let's just say we hit the road like we had just robbed a bank. heheh. no worries though, we all alive and healthy and we now look where we stand.
