On the second day in the Blue Mountains we had planned to go for one of the many many bushwalks and trails that criss-cross the countryside here. So we decided to embark upon the Grand Canyon Walk, a 6 km loop that takes you down, way down in to the valley, where the vegetation becomes sub-tropical and then through the canyon which is wet wet wet before a final (long and steep) ascent back to civilization through Neates Glen. it took us just under 3 hours and was incredible, especially in the dense fog.
