so we were in Cue, which is basically almost a ghost town by now, no offence to the people living there...and we had no idea what to do really. all the roads leading to the things we wanted to see were closed, courtesy of cyclone Glenda. it just so happened, however, that the only other 2 people in the caravan park took a liking to us and decided to tell us all about their gold-seeking adventures before deciding we were worthy to be taken out for a detecting session. gold fever !
