Kununurra, albeit forcefully.

so we got bogged down. yet another quintessential aussie experience ! being bogged means getting stuck somewhere (usually in the middle of nowhere) for any number of days, weeks or months because of insane amounts of water covering the one and only main road thru that area. so we got bogged up in Kununurra for 4 days because the bridge crossing the Victoria River had over 5m of water flowing above it. 5m !!! just try imagining that ! it's like, more than 2 alexis high ! shit. so we spent 4 days by the pool at the caravan park, tyring to pass the time. there ain't much else to do in Kununurra. we did visit Mirima National Park, which was nice but isn't much bigger than a soccer field. we also visited a community art center and wished we were rich enough to buy many a painting there. namely: billy duncan's works. look him up.
