Get Yer Motor Running...

this image is crooked and out of focus, but only because that is what i felt like as i left Port Douglas. after having been there 3 months and, in the end, actually liking it, it was only at this point that i knew i would miss it.
i left on wednesday the 28th of september, and took a detour through the Atherton Tablelands and am now heading down the east coast towards my final destination: Byron Bay. right now, i am in Airlie Beach and will be taking a day of boating around the Whitsunday Islands tomorrow. a few days ago, Sam and I and our road-mate, Eric, had the dive of a lifetime. we dove the S.S. Yongala, known as one of the best shipwreck-dives in the world. it was more than fantastic. i swam with a Bull Ray and Sam flirted with a Maori Wrasse.
